QnB STORY

Hello there,
I'm incredibly grateful that you're taking the time to dive deeper into this project. Let me share with you a short story behind QUIT and BUILD.

It all started back in high school, where a young dreamer named Honza sat in class, wondering what his future might hold. Unlike his classmates, he didn’t have a clear vision — no dream job in mind, no university path, no company he longed to work for. And yet, he was genuinely happy for those who did. Deep down though, he felt lost… because his dream wasn’t a job title.
Honza wanted one thing: FREEDOM.

So, he made a bold move. He decided to start a business. With the support of his family, he learned the ropes of risky tree-cutting. But within a month, he knew it wasn’t the right path for him. What kept him going was powerlifting. Slowly but surely, he found himself drawn to the microphone, hyping up lifters on the platform. And it clicked — this was his thing. Speaking, motivating, creating energy. His cup of coffee.

Then came the breaking point. After a series of mistakes and  sleepless nights, he made one of the hardest choices of his life:
He walked away from the safety net of steady income.

And just like that — the stress, the fear — it all faded. He realized something powerful: it’ll work out somehow... and the only person responsible for that is me. That same evening, as usual, he headed to the sauna. After the hot bath, he poured ice-cold water over himself, and BAM — it hit him like a lightning bolt.
“Yes. I need to create something that reminds people not to be afraid of hard decisions. A kind of talisman they can always carry with them.”
And so he shouted: “QUIT and BUILD.”
Because it’s not just about quitting — you have to build right away. Build forward. Build something new.

And so Honza got to work. Built a website, designed the visuals, and launched a podcast. But then, money started running out. A friend suggested working as a travel rep — decent pay, chill work. And in few more days, Honza nailed an interview.

Two weeks before departure, though, reality hit. If he left, he’d lose time — time he could invest in growing the brand, the podcast, his speaker career. The night before making the final decision, he didn’t sleep. Just thought. What if…?

And in the end — he stayed.
And now he’s writing these very words.

He stands behind QUIT and BUILD.
It saved him.
Because of it, he ended up hosting the World Powerlifting Championships. And now, he's continuing down his own crazy path.

Today, he delivers food to earn money, which he pours right back into the brand. Into the podcast. Into a brand-new collection — like the upcoming LIFTING SHIRT and more.

My ultimate goal?
To build a powerlifting brand.
Why powerlifting?
Because this lifestyle is personal to me — and I want to help lifters chase their dreams and ambitions.

Don’t be afraid to make hard decisions. Even when others don’t understand you. Let’s be real — most people don’t get why we love lifting heavy plates. But you do. Just like in life — others might not see your vision, but that doesn't mean it's wrong.

Let’s not give up.
Let’s keep dreaming — and chasing new PRs, both on the platform and in life.
Let’s build something big. Together.

Wishing all of us strength and courage.
Don’t fear hard decisions — they move us forward.
